Learn to play from a pro! Dave Dykstra has over 10 years touring experience, a Masters in Percussion from Belmont University, and regularly works as a producer and session musician in Nashville. He is local to Spring Hill and ready to help you get to the next level!
LESSONS WITH A SESSION PRO
Drum lessons are jam packed and fun, with the goal of building the student's overall musicianship. Each lesson is centered around developing solid technique, reading music, and learning to play a number of musical styles.

As students grow, our focus expands to learning advanced concepts on drum set, rudimental drumming for drum line, and music production.
​
Typically lessons are 30 minutes per week. Students are welcome at all skill levels!
DAVE'S BACKSTORY
Dave grew up in Chicago and has been playing drums since age 10. Upon moving to Nashville, he earned both his Bachelors and Masters of Commercial Music degrees from Belmont University. Along with going to school, Dave has 10 years touring and performing experience with a number of Nashville based artists including William Michael Morgan, Josh Gracin, and Martina McBride.

Currently, Dave works as a composer, producer, session musician, and is an adjunct professor of music at Belmont University.
